This year's event was another success. Despite a limited field and limited daylight, everyone had a great and fun day. The competition was tough out on the golf course and all of the winners are posted below. The 2009 edition of the Forsythe Cup raised $1,500 for the Aphasia Institute along with another $2,000 that was spent directly on the costs to run the Swing Into Recovery Golf Clinic. The Clinic had an overwhelming response this year with many people on the waiting list. Which shows that the awareness of what we are doing is spreading across the province as we had participants come in from all over to be a part of the clinic.
There will be some changes for the 2010 version of the Forsythe Cup. As I mentioned at the tournament, I will survey the database to get everyone's feedback before making any decisions.
